Dudu-Osun

Dudu-Osun black soaps are an ecological and ethical choice. The Palm oil used in these premium black soaps is sourced from small Nigerian farms and combined with ash in a traditional way but with modern technology. The other black soap ingredients are only added in the cooking phase to keep their original caring properties. The soap’s characteristic black color comes from the ash in it, obtained by burning cocoa beans and palm fruit. High-quality shea butter, traditionally cold-pressed from shea fruit, gives the Dudu-Osun soap its nourishing and moisturizing properties.

Dudu-Osun black soaps are made in Nigeria in a manner that respects the workers and cherishes the local soap-making traditions. Social security, fixed working hours, no child labor – these are the three cornerstones of Dudu-Osun’s ethical practices. All the raw materials of black soap, such as palm oil, shea butter, and aloe vera, come from Nigeria. All the processing steps also occur so that the local residents could benefit from the soap making as much as possible.
