Terms of use

The products of the Ruohonjuuri online store are sold by Ruohonjuuri Oy (Business ID 0510981-4, VAT ID FI05109814), Mannerheimintie 7, 00100 Helsinki, Finland. We sell products to adult private individuals in the EU and EEA. Read more from the shipping policy of the Ruohonjuuri online store.

Product prices include VAT. We reserve the right to change prices and postage.

Ordering

Products are generally ordered online at www.ruohonjuuri.com via a shopping cart. All orders are confirmed by email, stating the price of the order, delivery costs, and the ordered products. To receive order confirmation, you must provide an email address when ordering. The customer agrees to the valid delivery terms for each order.

Payment methods

Products and their postage are paid for when ordering. You can use the following payment methods to pay for goods bought via the online store: PayPal, Apple Pay, Visa and Master credit cards (via the Stripe service), and Klarna.

Credit card

We accept American Express, Diners Club, Discover, JCB, Maestro, MasterCard (Eurocard), UnionPay, and Visa. 

Payments are processed through our partner Stripe. 

When you make a purchase, an authorization hold will be placed on your credit card to reserve the total amount of the order. The transaction will be completed when the goods have been shipped from our warehouse.

Depending on the bank, the authorization hold is visible on your credit card account for 14–20 days but at least until the actual charge.

The authorization hold will be removed from your credit card if the order is canceled before the charge. In the case of a later cancellation, we will make a refund, which shows as a separate transaction. Kindly note that it might take 3–6 business days for a refund to be visible on your credit card account.

Klarna Invoice

Buy now, pay after delivery within 14 days – no interest charged. Klarna Invoice is a safe and easy way to shop. No account or card numbers are needed, and you can make sure your items arrive as expected before you pay for them. This payment method is currently available for residents of Germany, Austria, the Netherlands, Sweden, and Finland.

Klarna Invoice offers you the following benefits:

• Receive your order before you actually pay
• You have 14 days to pay from when the store shipped your order
• Pay safely without providing your card information
• You can cancel your order within 14 days

Klarna Part Payment

With Klarna Part Payment you can spread your purchases over time and select the payment plan that suits you the best (3–24 monthly payments). This payment method is currently available for residents of Germany, Austria, Sweden, and Finland.

Klarna Part Payment offers you the following benefits:

• Pay safely without providing your card information
• You can pay the entire purchase in full anytime

Apple Pay

Apple Pay provides an easy and secure way to pay for your purchases. Apple Pay requires you to use the Safari browser and sign in to your Apple ID account, which has the Apple Pay activated. Apple Pay is not available in all countries.

Discount codes and discounts

Discount codes for our online store are occasionally marketed via Ruohonjuuri newsletters and social media channels. A percentage discount is only given for regular-priced products. Euro-based discount codes (e.g. codes from Ruohonjuuri Loyalty Program) can be used for discounted products. 

In special discount campaigns, we may limit the use of the discount code to one time per customer. This means that the code can only be used by customers who have registered or logged in, and only once.

Discount codes cannot be combined, i.e. only one discount code can be used for one purchase. A discount code and the gift card can be used for the same purchase.
