Contains ubiquinone in its reduced form as ubiquinol. Each capsule contains 100 mg ubiquinol and 12 mg ascorbic acid.
Ubiquinol has an inherent weakness. It is a very unstable form because it is very quickly oxidised back to ubiquinone when exposed to oxygen. This characteristic makes it an extremely challenging substance to produce a stable ubiquinol formulation. Pharma Nord has succeeded in developing a manufacturing process that allows the active substance to be retained in its reduced form as ubiquinol.
Both ubiquinol and ubiquinone are useful and necessary for the body. Regardless of the form in which Q10 is ingested, the body converts it from an oxidised form to a reduced form and vice versa according to its needs.
Recommended daily dose: 1 capsule 1 to 2 times daily with meals.
Store at room temperature, away from sunlight.
